Paid To Read sites?

A Paid to Read or PTR website is a site that pays you per email you read. How this program works? First, you register for an account. In most cases, registration is free. I have not seen a PTR site that ask for a registration fee yet. Once you become their member, they will send you some emails. In the email, you will be ask to "click" on a Paid Advertisement link. These links are links to their advertisers website. They have set timers like 20-45 seconds per email depending on the website. At the end of that time, your account will be credited. You actually have a choice as to whether or not, you want these emails to be sent to your email address or to the site inbox. In my case, I opened another email address just for PTR emails.

How much per email cost? Not much. The cost per email varies depending on the site. Most paid to read email companies pay from $0.01 up to $1.00 per e-mail that you read but like I said in my previous post, bunch of pennies makes a dollar and bunch of dollar makes a bigger amount of dollars. It helps pay the bills. Some companies have minimum payout ($1, $3, $5, $10, $25..etc). After you reach the minimum payout, you can request for payment. Some companies just pays you automatically once minimum balance is reach.

How can you be paid? Most PTR sites pay either by paypal or by checks. Some also pay by e-gold. Upon registration, you will be asked which method of payment you prefer and you will also be asked to check some categories or topics that interest you. It would be wise to check as many categories as you feel comfortable with as these would be the basis of the emails they will send. The more topic you choose, the more emails you get and of course, the bigger amount of money you would get. Most PTR sites are free to join, but then you have to be careful too because there are also some PTR sites that are a scam. The sites I will be listing here soon are those that have paid me already. We are getting some commercial emails in our mailbox for free. So why not join PTR sites and read them in our spare time. Receive emails on topics that interests us and get paid for it.
